2022 SPRING DRAMA DRESS REHEARSAL

 

As previously announced, this semester, the dress rehearsal for all drama students 4th Grade and up

will be Friday, May 6th.  Students need to only come to one of the following three sessions: 

Session 1:  9:00-10:45 for the students who come to Rex Mathes on Mondays  

(This involves students in the plays “High-Back Comb”, "Invisible Girl”, “Suburban Power”, “Three Questions”, and “Frankie Gets It Right”.) 

 

Session 2:  11:00-12:45 for the students who come to Rex Mathes on Tuesdays & Fridays

(This involves students in the plays "After Hours”, “The Necklace”, “Gift of the Magi”, “Pinduli”, and “Those Shoes”.)

Session 3:  1:30-3:30 for the students who come to Rex Mathes on Wednesdays & Thursdays

(This involves the students in the plays “Ordinary Mary”, “The Three Little Wolves and the Big Bad Pig”, "You Are Special”, "The Princess Takes a Nap”, “Wolf, Wolf, Wolf”, “Game of Myths”, and “Snow White Lite”.)

Students will need to be in full costume on this day!

Parents will not stay for dress rehearsal; we will have several teachers on hand to help.  The auditorium will be full of students, and we do not expect to have extra seating for parents during the dress rehearsals.

NOTE TO FAMILIES WHO HAVE CHILDREN COMING TO DIFFERENT SESSIONS:  Your child should ONLY come to the rehearsal for which they are scheduled.  We cannot allow students to stay beyond or come early for their session--teachers need to be focused on the kids scheduled at each time. Thanks for understanding.  

All students should arrive a few minutes early, before the time of their rehearsal.  Please be prompt!!

Pick up will follow our usual WEDNESDAY, utilizing the bus lane in front of Rex Mathes, as well as the parking lot (see the picture below) --Do be prompt in picking kids up, please, as teachers will have additional obligations to attend to!
