WELCOME
West Des Moines Community Schools began their Home School Assistance Program (HSAP) in the 1980s. Throughout the years, the program has grown and changed.
We currently have 14 teachers who work in our program. Supervising teachers are provided to assist families in home schooling. We also offer enrichment classes and a variety of field trips and activities.
It is our goal to help families in their homeschooling endeavors, and we will do our best to serve you in any way we can!

To enrich what you are doing at home, we offer classes in the areas of:

writing, PE, Spanish, science, art
and Legos & Literature
2nd-12th Grades:

and drama
Each student may sign up for one day.

Friday students may attend any day during August 25-28 for Open House. Watch your email for more details as we get closer to August.

Rehearsals:
Students enrolled in HSAP drama classes rehearse their lines at home, during drama classes at Rex, and during the following dress rehearsals at Rex:
2nd-3rd Grades: Dress rehearsals during class at Rex
4th-5th Grades: Dress rehearsals during their day at
Rex the week of December 1-4
6th-12th Grades: Dress rehearsal on Friday, December 5th
(There is a morning session and an afternoon session. More details will be emailed as we get closer to this date.)
