EDUCATION  
I am from Oskaloosa, Iowa and graduated from Oskaloosa High School in 1971.  I earned my BA from Central College in 1975 and my MS from Iowa State in 1980.  I earned additional graduate hours through UNI in 2007-08.

EXPERIENCE
 I was a teacher and a coach at Waukee Middle School from 1975 to 1996. I was an administrator at Waukee Middle School from 1996 to 2008.

FAMILY 
I have been married to my wife, Sharman, a retired teacher, for 40 years.  I have two grown children, five grandchildren, and a golden retriever named Cisco.

 

INTERESTS
I love spending time with my grand kids!  My wife and I like to spend time in Arizona.  I enjoy baseball (work for the Iowa Cubs)!

WHY I LOVE TEACHING 
I love the opportunity to help others see that their potential is beyond what they believe it can be.  There is no limit to success with great determination and a willingness to learn.
